Orion resident part of Baker’s winning team

While known for being a career college and not for their athletics, Baker College showed its athletic side on Oct. 21 when it placed first in theUniversities/Colleges division of the Detroit Marathon Relay.
The Baker College team competed against five other Michigan higher education institutions, posting a winning time of 3:20:18.
Overall, the team placed 32nd out of the 568 relay teams that competed in the 26.2-mile marathon.
