In celebration of 24 years of Chrysler Group minivan production and more than 11 million vehicles sold, Palace Chrysler, located on Lapeer Road, has teamed with Oakview Middle School for a special promotion this month.
Palace Chrysler invites school faculty and student family members to compete in the ‘Drive for Your School Challenge,? with a chance to win $5,000 for the school.
The challenge will run during the ‘Drive for the Kids? program, which takes place all month long. Any student family members and friends, who are adult licensed drivers, can visit the school during designated times this April to test drive a brand new Chrysler Minivan.
For each completed test drive and short questionnaire, the school will receive a $5 contribution from the Chrysler Group. Schools are divided into five regions across the country.
The ‘Drive for Your School Challenge? will recognize the top-performing school in each region with an additional $5,000 to support literacy and student enrichment.
‘The ‘Drive for Your School Challenge? is a fun way to elevate awareness about the importance of childhood literacy and raise money for a local school,? said Cathy Maniace of Palace Chrysler.
The program was created in 1993.
