Perfect game gives Wolves boost in win

Junior Logan Sutherland knew he had to do his best against his opponent from Birmingham in his meet with the Clarkston Boys Varsity Bowling team, Jan. 29
He did by bowling a perfect game, a 300, for his first time.
“I kept my momentum up there and knew I would get to 300,” Sutherland said, adding he didn’t change anything and kept using the same technique.
Coach Ken Clayton explained he knew Sutherland was getting close to a perfect game because he bowled a 248 against Southfield Arts & Technology the day before.
Sutherland began bowling two years ago.

“I heard about it when I was in football,” he said. “I said to my parents I might sign up for bowling. I enjoy bowling with my friends from school, there’s nothing like it to play against other team players, and getting to know people.”
His goals for the rest of the season is to keep up with the momentum and to bowl another perfect game.
