Members of the Pine Tree Student Council spearheaded a Pennies for Patients campaign to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Together, the school raised $2,100 in just two weeks.
Ms. Kempski’s 4th grade class raised the most money (over $430) and will be honored with a pasta party from Olive Garden.
Mr. Martin’s 3rd grade class and Ms. Guccini’s 2nd grade class each took 2nd and 3rd place and will receive a pizza party and a ice cream party respectively.
