Drunk driving
On Oct. 15 at 12:42 a.m., deputies were called to an unoccupied vehicle that was in the ditch at Maybee Road and Dvorak Street.
Upon their arrival, deputies observed the crashed vehicle and located a 48-year-old Clarkston female who admitted to consuming alcohol. She was not injured, but was arrested for operating while intoxicated and taken to the Oakland County Jail.

Vehicle break-ins
During the night of Oct. 13 into the morning of Oct. 14, six unlocked vehicles had been illegally entered within the Lancasterhill Apartment complex and several items were taken from the vehicles (money, kicker box speaker, tools, purse, wallet, electronics, clothing, several misc. items).
As of press time, there are suspects with detectives still investigating.

Suspended license
Back on Oct. 14 at 4:45 a.m., deputies received a BOL (Be On The Lookout) for a dark-colored sedan driving erratically on Ortonville Road and Strawberry Lane.
Deputies observed the vehicle travelling on Ortonville Road entering the I-75 ramp. A traffic stop was conducted the driver, a 27-year-old Detroit man, was found to have a suspended driver’s license, along with two outstanding arrest warrants from Genesee County.
The driver was arrested, transported to Genesee County Jail and the vehicle towed.

Indecent exposure
Clarkston resident Kevin Wayne VanLuven didn’t know he was being recorded allegedly pleasuring himself with an Elmo doll during a home inspection back on March 12, 2021.
Two weeks ago, the 60-year-old was convicted of a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure and not guilty of destruction of property.
Sentencing will be in December.
