PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Complaint has been filed in Craven County (NC) District Court, in which the plaintiff, Joanna Webb Mullins, is seeking temporary and permanent custody of Kaylynn Webb, a minor child. Neither defendant has filed an Answer to the Complaint, and neither has challenged the Court’s jurisdiction to award custody to the plaintiff. You are being served by publication because the action will determine custody of your biological child.
You must file an Answer or other responsive pleading to the Complaint within 40 days of the first date of publication of this notice in the Clarkston News, and in no event no later than July 12, 2021, with the Clerk of Court, Craven County, 302 Broad Street, New Bern NC 28560. Your failure to file an Answer or other pleading will not prevent plaintiff from seeking the relief set forth in the Complaint. You may obtain a copy of the Complaint in the case from the Clerk of Court, or from plaintiff’s attorney shown below.
