The Wolves finished in eighth place in both of their races during the MHSAA Cross Country State Finals at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday.
The Clarkston Girls Cross Country team finished in eighth place with 257 points.
Sophomore Mia Patria led the Lady Wolves finishing in 24th place at 18:18.8. Junior Elizabeth Dalrymple finished in 31st place, 18:27.7; junior Mallory Ferguson, 65th, 19:03.4; junior Emily Ferguson, 127th, 19:40.5; junior Grace Nolan, 135th, 19:43.8; freshman Shannon Billette, 155th, 19:54.1; and senior Emily Gustafson, 181st, 20:09.
Troy finished in first place with 127 points. Northville finished in second, 132; Rockford, third, 153; Ann Arbor Pioneer, fourth, 180; and Milford, fifth, 234, for the top five out of 27 teams.
The Clarkston Boys Cross Country team finished in eighth place with 304 points.
Sophomore Brendan Favazza led the Wolves, finishing in 30th place at 15:57.6. Junior Shawn Slater finished in 47th place, 16:13.7; sophomore Nathan Sesti, 86th, 16:28.3; junior Mark Sprague, 138th, 16:51.2; sophomore Christian Collis, 156th, 16:57.5; senior Ben Allen, 187th, 17:11.4; and junior Jeremy Cavallo, 220th, 17:33.8.
Ann Arbor Pioneer finished in first place with 107 points. Plymouth finished in second, 110; White Lake Lakeland, third, 129; Romeo, fourth, 142; and Saline, fifth, 246 for the top five out of 27 teams.
