For pedestrian safety, Clarkston city ordinance requires all homeowners and business owners shovel snow accumulations greater than two inches from sidewalks in front of (or next to) their home/business within 24 hours. Warnings will be issued when walks are not shoveled. 
If no action is taken, the city DPW staff will shovel the walks and the property owner will be invoiced.
