The Varsity volleyball team downed another Oakland Activities Association team this past week to remain undefeated in the OAA White.
Birmingham Groves made the trek up to Oxford on Tuesday, Sept. 28 and lost to the Wildcats in five sets.
Oxford was led offensively by senior Casey Novak, who had 13 kills and junior Kate Bailey with 11 kills. Senior setter Paige Felisky and Sara Nieboer combined for 44 kill assists and 20 digs.
Junior Maggie Rourke finished with a game high 19 digs, while Novak finished with 16 digs, while junior Lindsey Leppek finished with three blocks and seven kills.
With the victory, the Wildcats improve to 16-5-7 on the season and 3-0 in the OAA White. They will put their perfect record on the line against fellow undefeated OAA white team Rochester Adams on Thursday, Oct. 7.
