Fourth graders at Stadium Elementary presented the musical Fussin? An? A-Feudin? last week. Since mid-January, the students have been rehearsing their lines, building sets and practicing dance moves and songs.
‘The students at Stadium Drive study the arts throughout their entire elementary school experience,? said theatre arts specialist Karey Hart.
‘When in art, dance, theatre, and music they are taught to think as artists, dancers, actors and musicians. The productions are a culmination of the knowledge they have been acquiring since kindergarten.?
The students performed the play, which was about two feuding families, during the day for their classmates and in an evening performance for the community.
