The Clarkston Varsity Girls and Boys Ski teams won dual meets at Pine Knob Ski Resort during their third week of competition, Jan. 25 and 26.
The boys posted three wins over Cranbrook, 20-63.5, Waterford United,20-74, and Berkley/Athens, 20-64.
The girls posted two wins over Cranbrook, 24-51.5, and Berkley/Athens, 22-59.
For the Giant Slalom, Sydney Thomas finished in third place in the time of 36.76. Phoebe Savoie finished in fourth place in the time of 36.97; Courtney Bayley, eighth, 37.64; Maddie Leithauser, 11th, 38.94; Trisha Verbeke, tied for 14th, 39.45; and Lyndsey Nicosia, 18th, 39.79.
Bayley led in the Slalom, finishing in second place in the time of 44.25. Thomas finished in fourth place in the time of 44.86; Savoie, seventh, 46.52; Verbeke, tenth, 49.66; Leithauser, 18th, 52.23; and Elke Roeser, 47th, 63.33.
For the Giant Slalom, Luke Farella finished in first place in the time of 35.15. Noah Ostheimer finished in ninth place in the time of 36.39; Austin Bushroe, tenth, 36.83; Sawyer Haiss, 13th, 37.15; Everett Baetens, 17th, 37.44; Evan Savoie, 26th, 38.41; and Max Ashley, 38th, 39.47.
Farella led during the Slalom race as well to a second place finish in the time of 42.50. Ostheimer finished in eighth place in the time of 44.60; Bushroe, tenth, 46.05; Haiss, 11th, 46.58; Ashley, tied for 23rd, 50.43; and Baetens, 44th, 58.96.
The boys won their races against Bloomfield Hills, 21-59, and Troy/Avondale, 21-65, in the second week of competition, Jan. 18 and 19. They lost to Rochester Adams, 31-42.
During the Slalom, Ostheimer finished in seventh place in the time of 45.99; Haiss, 11th, 49.08; Farella, 12th, 50.07; AJ Damone, 21st, 54.35; Savoie, 21st, 55.03; and Ashley, 38th, 69.28.
During the Giant Slalom, Farella finished in second place, 34.79; Ostheimer, seventh, 36.03; Bushroe, tenth, 36.35; Baetens, 17th, 36.92; Haiss, 22nd, 37.86; Ashley, 32nd, 39.23; and Damone, 39th, 41.21.
The girls remained undefeated with wins over Bloomfield Hills, 21-59, Rochester Adams, 32-46, and Troy/Avondale, 20-74.
During the Slalom, Thomas finished in third place in the time of 27.25; Verbeke, fifth, 50.50; Savoie, 51.53; Roeser, 14th, 57.05; and Cameron Brosky, 22nd, 63.54.
During the Giant Slalom, Thomas, third, 36.49; Savoie, fourth, 36.62; Bayley, seventh, 37.08; Lyndsey Nicosia, eighth, 37.21; Brosky, 12th, 37.42; Leithauser, 14th, 38.05; and Audrey Brancheau, 27th, 40.80.
