Campers at the Orion Art Center’s Theatre Arts Camp performed ‘Hollywood Mansion Mystery? on June 23, a play scripted by them during the week-long camp.
The play starred all 16 of the campers, who also created their own props and set.
The play was directed by Susan Berg, while Dorothy Sedlock served as arts director and Audrey Long as set director.
Camp counselors included Sara Giampa, Mike Hale, Viviana Hernandez and Sarah Martin.
The cast included Allison Shinouskis, Kaitlyn Morgan, Nick Ludwig, Adrian Strat, Jacalyn Borella, Hannah Strat, Skye Donaldson, Victoria Von Herrmann, Taylor Van Voorhees, Ashley Harmon, Aly Ladd, Emily Freeman, Aaron Strat, Chase Donaldson, Danielle Reiber and Madison Krahn.
OAC Program Coordinator Trisha Donaldson said the performance will air on ONTV sometime in July, and DVDs will be available shortly after by contacting either the OAC or ONTV.
The OAC will host two more camps later this summer. The ‘Great Outdoors Arts Camp? runs from July 17-21, and the ‘Rhythm Arts Camp? is July 31-Aug. 4.
Both camps are open to children ages six and up, and run each day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
