Oxford Varsity boys? and girls? track teams are sitting on 2-2 and 4-0 FML records, respectively, after last Wednesday’s meet against Lapeer West and Clio.
Oxford girls beat West 113-23 and Clio 115-22, while the boys beat West 111-26 and Clio 89-48. Highlights for the girls included junior Katherine Bosetti’s 1st place pole vault that broke a school record at 8?10? and freshman Megan Seeley’s 1st place in the 1600-meter run.
For the boys, freshman Sir Ralph Rodriguez’s 1st place in shot-put and sophomore Kevin Jickling’s 1st place in pole vaulting. Oxford travels to Brandon today for a 4 p.m. meet.
