Wedding bells ring in Children’s Park

When Lake Orion graduate Kristen Watts got a flat tire a year-and-a-half ago, she didn’t realize that it would lead to love.
But it was her trip to Tire Warehouse that introduced her to her future husband, Dylan Peterson.
‘I went to get it fixed and Dylan ended up being the one that fixed it for me,? Kristen said. ‘We went on a date that night and have been together ever since.?
After dating for over a year, the couple decided that they wanted to spend their life together and talks of engagement and wedding bells started.
It wasn’t until Dylan surprised Kristen one day that it became official.
‘He came home from lunch one day and got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife,? she said of the surprise proposal.
‘She is the coolest girl I have ever met and she treats me right,? Dylan said of his wife. ‘She makes me feel good about myself and what I want.?
Kristen also speaks highly of her spouse.
‘He is a great guy,? she said. ‘He is really loving and supportive of me and what I want to do.?
‘He makes me feel like a princess,? Kristen added.
The couple, who has never had a fight, decided to hold their wedding ceremony in the gazebo at Children’s Park.
‘We wanted an outdoors wedding,? Kristen said of the June 22 nuptials. ?(It) turned out to be more than we ever expected it to be.?
The couple is enjoying their wedded bliss and being together.
‘We just have a lot of fun together and never want to be away from each other,? she added.
