Clarkston Girls Soccer
The Clarkston Girls Varsity Soccer team went split last week going 1-1.
The Wolves opened last week with a 4-3 win over Romeo, April 15. Emi Catintella scored two goals. Emma Bradley and Avery Perkins each scored one goal.
They lost to Oxford in an away game on Friday, 4-2. Alexa Knights scored the first goal for the Wolves less than three minutes into the second half, putting the score 2-1. Avery Perkins scored the second goal with four minutes left in the game with a shot into the corner of the net.
Clarkston (5-2-1, 2-0 OAA White) opened this week against Lake Orion in a OAA White League game on Tuesday. They head to Ferndale to play Berkley on Thursday. They host Ann Arbor Pioneer on Saturday, 10 a.m.
Clarkston Boys Golf
Clarkston Boys Varsity Golf competed in the Tam-O-Shanter and finished in the top 15, April 15.
Senior Austin Summers led the team, hitting a 81 for the day. Junior Calum Hartner had a 82; senior Owen Cameron, 83; and juniors Braden Waechter and Vinny Giannini, 84.
Clarkston Boys JVA Golf had their fourth win of the season going 173-203 against Stoney Creek. Junior Brady Ebeling led with a 41. Sophomore Anthony Dubeck had a 43; freshman Matthew Drake, 44; junior Finn Mooney, 45; and sophomore Ryan Wilford, 47..
Clarkston Girls Lacrosse
The Clarkston Girls Varsity Lacrosse team posted their first win of the season with a 17-0 shutout against Avondale, April 17.
They opened the week with a 12-9 loss to Oxford, April 16. They lost to Troy on Saturday, 16-4.
The Wolves opened the week against Troy Athens on Monday. They head to Rochester Adams on Wednesday, April 24 and West Bloomfield on Friday.
Clarkston Baseball
The Clarkston Varsity Baseball team went 2-3 last week. They opened their 3-game series against Stoney Creek with a 1-0 win, April 15.
Camden Williamson had 12 strikeouts with three hits and zero runs pitching six innings. TJ Hyde finished the night with the save and pitched two strikeouts.
They lost to Stoney Creek in ten innings, 4-3, April 16. Lucas DeBell was on base five times with three hits. Logan Brimacombe had two hits and two RBIs. Owen McCuan pitched for five innings with one earned run and eight strikeouts. Hyde pitched three innings with one earned run and three strikeouts. Chris York had one earned run and three strikeouts in two innings.
They finished the series with a 3-1 loss on Thursday. Dylan Johnston pitched for six innings with two earned runs and three strikeouts. Brice Hickey and Connor Paul each had two hits.
The Wolves split their double header against Detroit Country Day on Saturday with a 3-2 win and a 10-5 loss.
Clarkston (5-7) opened the week with a two games in their series against Rochester Adams. They finish the series at Adams on Thursday, 4:30 p.m. They host Macomb Dakota in a double header, beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
They head to Rochester on Monday, April 29 and April 30, both games are at 4:30 p.m.
Clarkston Softball
The Clarkston Varsity Softball team had two losses in their double header against Lakeland last Thursday, 6-5 and 9-4.
They opened this week with a double header at Hartland on Monday. They finish April with a double header at home against North Farmington, beginning at 4:30 p.m. on April 30.
