Clarkston Varsity Volleyball closed the regular season on Saturday at the Stoney Creek Invite.
They defeated Rochester Adams, 2-0, with the score of 25-19 in both sets.
Freshman Addison Newblatt had nine kills and two aces. Senior Summer Jidas had nine digs and sophomore Kiley Gallagher had six digs. Sophomore Emery Kuebler had 19 assists.
They also had a 2-0 win over Brighton, winning sets 25-16 and 25-22.
Sophomore Cayla Cogan had 14 kills and junior Paige Giehtbrock had seven kills. Jidas had three aces and Kuebler had 23 assists.
Davison won the first set 26-24 and the Wolves came back to take the next two sets, 25-20 and 15-13 to win, 2-1.
Cogan had 16 kills and Giehtbrock had eight kills and two aces. Newblatt had seven kills. Jidas had 15 digs and Gallagher had 11 digs. Kuebler had 35 assists.
The Wolves head into the post season with a 32-11-3 overall record and 10-2 in the league, finishing second in the OAA Red.
Clarkston plays Waterford Kettering in the MHSAA Division 1 District 5 Semifinals on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
The district final is on Thursday at 6 p.m. Both games are held at Lakeland High School, 1630 Bogie Lake Road White Lake, 48383.
Per the MHSAA, ticket prices are set at $7.30 (including fees) and need to be purchased ahead of time please. No cash or passes will be accepted for this event.

The district winner moves on to play in Division 1 Regional 2 at Novi High School. The regional semifinal is Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. The regional final is Thursday, Nov. 11, 7 p.m.
