LAKE ORION — The Clarkston Unified Wrestling team finished in first place at the Oakland County Middle School Championship at Lake Orion High School, March 15.
The Wolves had eight wrestlers finish as champions in their weight classes asMaxx Bauer in the 95B-pound weight class; Grant Berden (100B), Liam Maglothin (106A), Chase Nidiffer (126B), Zeek DeNault (132B), Conner Sesti (138A), Jack Klobucar (144B) and Luke Shafer (157) finished in first place.
Wrestlers finishing in the top four places also included second place Zach Bauer (80B), Levi Bills (175B); third place, Patrick Collins (90A), Trent Shaw (120A), Gannon Drouin (150B), Jayden Lee (165), Mason Eagloski (285); and fourth place, Hunter Trammel (113A).

Clarkston Unified finished with 354.5 points for first place. The top five teams also included West Bloomfield Middle School in second place with 310 points; Lake Orion Unified, 266.5; Oxford Middle School, fourth, 252; and Pierce Middle School in Waterford, fifth, 221.5.
Clarkston Unified team includes sixth and seventh graders from Sashabaw Middle School and eighth graders from Clarkston Junior High School.
