The Clarkston High School Track and Field teams headed to Oxford in a chilly OAA Red League match up.
The girls team won their meet 90-47.
The top three placers in the track events are: in the 100-meter dash, Allie Eriksen, first, 12.97; Karlie Mattinson, second, 13.50; Crysta Gasiorowski, seventh, 14.63; 200-meter dash, Mattinson, second, 26.61; Gasiorowski, sixth, 30.77; Hope Verville, seventh, 30.83; 400-dash, Eriksen, first, 1:01.03; Elyse Pfieger, sixth, 1:22.44; Stephanie Enright, seventh, 1:24.19; 800-meter run, Mia Patria, first, 2:31.01; Elise Wilhelm and Grace Nolan, second, 2:39.14; 1,600-meter run, Nolan, first, 5:33.67; Emily Ferguson, second, 5:51.89; Katrina Bensen, 12th, 6:46.69; 3,200-meter run, Elizabeth Dalrymple, first, 11:21.50; Olivia Galio, fourth, 12:31.67; and Mackenzie Montigano, fifth, 13:33.36.
For hurdles, in the 100-meter hurdles, Haley Puskar finished in second, 17.27; Danielle Norrito, fifth, 20.30; and Chloe Davis, sixth, 20.68. In the 300-meter hurdles, Shae Harbaugh, first, 49.14; Meredith Brennan, second, 53.50; and Chloe Davis, eighth, 1:05.89.
Clarkston finished in first place in three relay races. They finished first in the 800-meter relay at 1:52.98, and fourth place, 2:11. They finished first in the 3,200-meter relay at 10:25.37 and also in fourth place at 12:40.8. They finished the 1,600-meter relay in first at 4:26.03. They took third place in the 400-meter relay, 59.60.
For the field events the top three placers were: in shot put, Lyndaya Marshall, second, 31-00; Alysa Perez, third, 28-09.5; Jen Starnes, fifth, 27-09; discus, Perez, first, 96-02; Starnes, sixth, 72-07; Riley Scheider, seventh, 63-00; high jump, Allison Osborn, first, 4-03; Maddie Carpentier, third, 4-03; Elyse Pflieger, fourth, 4-00; pole vault, Hannah Golab, first, 8-06; Julia Hunt, third, 7-00; long jump, Beka Scheich, first, 15-02.5; Gasiorowski, seventh, 13-02.75; and Osborn, ninth, 13-01.
The boys lost to Oxford, 79-49.
The Wolves took the top three spots in the 1,600-meter run with Brendan Favazza leading the race for a first place finish at the time of 4:37.58. Mark Sprague finished in second place, 4:46.84; and Andrew Sesti, third, 4:57.01.
They took seven of the top ten places in the 800-meter run with Nathan Sesti finishing in second place at 2:01.66; Christian Collis, third, 2:05.4; Favazza, fourth, 2:07.41; Nathan Murray, sixth, 3:09.48; Bo Anderson, eighth, 2:15.57; Jeremy Cavallo, ninth, 2:18.49; and Andrew Sesti, tenth, 2:18.80.
The top three placers in the track events are: for 100-meter dash, Devin Parkison, third, 11.87; Miguel Gutierrez, fifth, 12.19; Kidus Johnson, sixth, 12.22; 200-meter dash, Sean Latther, fourth, 25.6; Dylan Haggerty, fifth, 25.79; Tyran Blanks, seventh, 28.72; 400-meter dash, Matt Baker, second, 56.03; Blanks, fifth, 1:09.48; Alex Osmun, 1:16.54; 3,200-meter run, Shawn Slater, first, 10:01.91; Sprague, third, 10:19.56; and Carson Brock, fifth, 10:55.13.
For hurdles, Drew Radlick took second place in the 110-meter hurdles in the time of 18.01, and the 300-meter hurdles, in the time of 53.18. Zech Borchard finished in fourth place in both hurdle events, finishing in 19.73 in the 110-meter hurdles, and 54.64 in the 300-meter hurdles. Robert Spencer finished in fifth place in the 110-meter hurdles, 21.33; and sixth in the 300-meter hurdles, 59.09.
The Wolves took three places in the 3,200-meter relay race with one team finishing in first, 8:24.47; the second team, third place, 9:36.36; and third team took fourth, 9:37.70. Teams also finished in second place in the 400-meter relay, 47.37; and the 1,600-meter relay, 3:56.96.
Ben Haas finished in first place in the shot put event, 45-10; and the discus event, 108-04. Anthony Perez finished in fifth place in the shot put, 31-03.25, and Michael Williams finished in seventh place, 27-02.25. Avery Grail finished in third place in the discus, 80-09; and Perez finished in fourth, 69-01.
For the high jump, Lewyn Beernink finished in third place, 5-06; Valen Kurmaniank, fourth, 5-03; and Michael Rottenberk, fifth, 5-00. For the long jump, Ayden Brooks, second, 18-08.5; Beernink, fourth, 17-06.5; Sean Latther, seventh, 17-04.
For the pole vault, Miguel Gutierrez took first place, 11-06; Luke Grabowski, fourth, 9-06; and Julian Kennedy, fifth, 9-00.
The Wolves compete in the Balawajder Coed Relays this Saturday and host Rochester Adams next Wednesday with first event starting at 4:30 p.m.
