As planned, the Church Street closure at Main Street will end on Wednesday, July 7, at which time it will reopen to vehicular traffic. The possible long-term closure of Church or Mill Street in the downtown area as a green space or Social District commons area is still under consideration, but such action would require significant research and a public hearing before being voted upon.
