Around 4 p.m. on September 25, a motorcycle injury crash occurred on Hadley Road in Independence Township. 
The driver of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old man from Mequon, Wis., had been operating a 2020 Harley Davidson FXFBS motorcycle south on Hadley Road when he lost control, went over the handlebars, and landed on the edge of the road.
The man was wearing a helmet at the time of crash.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation.
The Independence Township Fire Department arrived on the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to McLaren Oakland Hospital where he was listed in stable condition as of September 27.
