Renee and Steven Turner, of Clarkston, have announced the engagement of their daughter Mickayla Meola to Timothy Rosenbaum.
The happy couple will say “I do” on July 8, 2022 at the historic Tudor Arms Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. Family and friends have eagerly anticipated their union since the couple met while attending Notre Dame College in Euclid, Ohio.
Tim is a math teacher and Mickayla, part of the Clarkston High School Class of 2009, is a technology teacher, both in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. They just recently purchased their dream home in Chesterland, Ohio, where Tim is from. 
Mickayla went to elementary school at Bailey Lake Elementary and Springfield Plains Elementary. One of her most important achievements was being a part of a group of girls who started the lacrosse team. Mickayla was an integral part of the team’s development and earned Most Valuable Player honors all four years she participated. Her outstanding athleticism was rewarded with a half scholarship to Notre Dame College to play on their lacrosse team while earning her bachelor’s degree in Education.
Notre Dame offered her a teaching assistant’s position which she maintained while earning her master’s degree in Technology.
