With lots of food, drink, and laughter, Clarkston-area residents raised about $45,000 for Lighthouse North. Dr. Shivajee and Terri Nallamouthu of Independence Township opened their home for the annual Open Your Heart fundraiser Feb. 14. Detroit Pistons basketball star Lindsey Hunter also made a special appearance in support of the event.
Clarkston Community Education hosted the Daddy Daughter Valentines dance Saturday, Feb. 16. A group of girls from Clarkston High School’s National Honors Society volunteered to help out.
