Summary: When I was first elected to the school board four years ago, the board’s finances were in good shape. Currently that same board is facing some challenges due to cutbacks in state financing’I just can’t walk away after four years.
The current board works well together and we should stay intact. We’ve learned a lot about each other and work to discuss and sort out disagreements. The next few years will require cooperation, creativity, and new ideas to overcome the fiscal challenges.

Personal: Married with three children attending Brandon Schools. Lived in Brandon School District for 35 years and a 1977 Brandon High School graduate. First elected to Brandon School Board in 2000.
Summary: I am seeking reelection to the School Board to continue working for the children of the community that has been my home for more than three decades. With the budget cuts looming this year and the potential for more next year, I feel my four years on the board have prepared me to make decisions that are best for all the kids of Brandon Schools.
