A-1 Turf Plus gets mowing

A-1 Turf Plus will again provide mowing for Orion Township parks and athletic fields for 2004 and 2005. The board of trustees voted to renew the company’s contract for two more years, for the 2003 rates. The company has been doing the township’s mowing since 1998, and have not changed their prices since 1999.

Same rates for mowing paths

Kleen Kut has been awarded the contract for mowing Orion Township safety paths, sidewalks and the Paint Creek Trail for a two-year period. The company has agreed to retain its current rates for the renewed contract, which runs Nov. 1, 2003 through Oct. 31, 2005.

The Orion Township Board of Trustees reappointed two members to the local board of canvassers.
