Pine Tree Elementary kids got a chance to play outside during the snow storm last Wednesday. Principal Diane Dunaskiss served hot chocolate to the students after they came inside. More than nine inches of snow fell in the Orion area during the day and schools were closed on Thursday.

Last year, two separate agencies studied water rates charged to 126 communities by the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.
