Samantha Moyet, of Clarkston, just finished her first year at SCAD (Savannah (Ga.) College of Art and Design) made the Dean’s List all three quarters.
Full-time undergraduate students who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher during a quarter term qualify for the Dean’s List.

Lydia Back, of Clarkston, has been named to the Alma (Mich.) College Dean’s List for the 2022 Winter Term.
Students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade-point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the Dean’s List.
In addition, Back earned a first-year President’s Cup award. Juniors, sophomores and first-year students who have been at Alma for one year and who attain the highest academic ranks in their classes based on GPA receive the award.

Angelena Perry, of Clarkston, a Trine (Ind.) University student, was named to the President’s List for the Spring 2022 term at Trine University.
Perry is majoring in Business Administration.
To earn President’s List honors, Trine students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a GPA of 3.750-4.000.

Courtney Farrugia and Ryan Mason, both of Clarkston, have been named to the Dean’s List at Trine for the Spring 2022 term.
To earn Dean’s List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a GPA of 3.500-3.749.

Elizabeth Craig, of Clarkston, has achieved the Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester at Davis and Elkins (W.V.) College.
To earn the honor, full-time students must achieve a semester GPA of 3.6 to less than 4.0.

Joseph O’Brien, of Clarkston, was one of more than 300 students to receive a diploma at the 168th Commencement exercises at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., on May 14.
O’Brien graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Hannah Hitchcock, of Clarkston, has earned Dean’s List honors for the Spring 2022 semester at Lee (Tenn.) University.
Dean’s List recognition is earned by full-time, undergraduate students with a semester GPA between 3.7 and 4.00.

Garrett Bailey (Mechanical Engineering), Alyssa Evanson (Architecture), Lauren Hartline (Electrical Engineering), Madison Kujala (Biomedical Engineering), and Cayd Maccagnone (Architectural Engineering), all of Clarkston, have been named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2022 semester at Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University.
To be named to the honor roll a student must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average for the term.

Alexander Carlson (College of Engineering, Dean’s Honor List) and Megan Ford (College of Engineering, Dean’s Honor List), both of Clarkston, have named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2021-2022 academic year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction. Most call the honor “Dean’s List”, but some grant the “Dean’s Honor List” and “Dean’s High Honor List.”

Elizabeth Giordano, Ashlyn Helm, Sarah Lacey, and Kaylee Phillips, all of Clarkston, have been named to the Dean’s Honor List at Cedarville (Ohio) University for the Spring 2022 semester.
This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
As well, Lacey graduated from Cedarville in the spring with an undergraduate degree in Industrial & Innovative Design.
