The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced the recipients of the 2022-23 MIAA Academic Honor Roll, and the list includes Clarkston’s Angelena Perry.
Perry is part of the softball team at Trine (Ind.) University and is majoring in Business Administration.
Student-athletes must reach a 3.5 grade-point average for the academic year and earn a varsity letter in an MIAA-sponsored sport to be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll.

Northern Michigan University has announces its recent round of graduates from this past May, which included several Clarkston residents.
Earning associate degrees were Skylar Whittaker (AS-General Studies) and Jagger Woody (AAS-Welding), while baccalaureate degrees went to Matthew Baker (BS-Biology), Kaylynn Greer (BS-Criminal Justice, Cum Laude), Keith Louden (BS-Medicinal Plant Chemistry), and Alyvia Stoudt (BS-Criminal Justice, Magna Cum Laude).
