ESTHERS of Clarkston hosts a four-course Harvest Brunch on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m., at 9539 Dixie Highway.
The fundraising event benefits the launching of a local ESTHERS ministry, helping vulnerable teenage girls and young women in the metro-Detroit area through discipleship, life skills training, and art workshops.
First course includes muffins and savory tartlets; second course, sweet potato soup; third, arugula pomegranate salad, chicken salad with croissant; and fourth, pumpkin roll, caramel apple cake, and chocolates, all with coffee, tea, and cider.
The ESTHERS Christmas Boutique opens that day, with items made by ESTHERS in Brazil, Bon Cook items, Christmas stockings, Christmas tree skirts, pillowcases, fabric gift bags and quilted microwave bowl holders, made by a local seniors sewing circle, and vintage boutique items.
Tickets are $50 each, at www.estherschildren.org. For more information, email Emily Sutherland at esutherland@estherschildren.org.
