Visitors from all over crowded into Hollygrove off Dixie Highway for the first fine-weather weekend of the Michigan Renaissance Festival.
Unlike the rain and mud previously this season, skies were sunny and blue this Labor Day weekend as festival goers enjoyed live shows of swordsmanship and jousting on horseback, juggling, feats of superhuman strength, and comedy of a naughty sort, shopping, and lots of food sans utensils.
This weekend, the festival celebrates the Wonders of the World.
