Harold G. Bachand, of Clarkston, born March 9, 1927 to Renee and Mabel Cook, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 16, 2022 at the age of 95.
Preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth “Betty.”
Father/pops of Charlene (the late Billy) Milam, Sharon Bachand, and the late Denise (Kevin) LaDuc, grandpa/papa of Elizabeth (fiancé Jesse Theibert) Milam, Zachary (Kaelyn) Clifford and Taylor Clifford, also survived by five great-grandchildren, brother of Mabel Ross, and partner of Mary Evelyn Smith.
Harold served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II. He was very patriotic and a proud veteran.
Harold worked as a cutter grinder and was musical. He will be remembered as playing his harmonica and was talented, easily reproducing music that he heard.
Harold was also very mechanically inclined. If it was broke, he could fix it.
A celebration of life memorial service with open sharing at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, will be held after the holidays and will be announced. Spring inurnment at Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston.
