The new Historic District Committee meets on Monday, Feb. 3, at 12 p.m. at the Clarkston Independence District Library. The agenda includes a presentation on the Community Information Network.
The Historic District Commission will meet on Feb. 11 at city hall to review the Clarkston Local Historic District Ordinance; Local Historic Districts Act administered by the State Historic Preservation Office and supported by the Michigan Historic Preservation Network; and the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for the Treatment of Historic Properties, and how they govern work performed on properties in the Clarkston Historic District.
