Clarkston High School student Charlie Eppink has a friend in Curt Catallo, owner of the Clarkston Union and Woodshop who helped him declare his Homecoming intentions to his girlfriend, Sammy Blomberg.
Blomberg, who works at the Woodshop, was a varsity cheerleader the last three years. Her dad, Christopher Blomberg, is in the Air Force and currently deployed overseas in Qatar for the last six months. Eppink is a hockey player and works at Top Golf.
They’re both members of National Honor Society and AWOD (A World of Difference) at CHS, and have both applied to Michigan State to study Engineering.
They are also both in the Clarkston Homecoming Court, and have been dating for a year an a half, said Erin Fanfalone, Sammy’s mom.
