Karen S. Brown, of Clarkston, formerly of Waterford, passed away on February 21, 2022 at the age of 71.
Wife of Kenneth for 46 years, mother of Kassie (Jonathon) Redker and Kari (Hank) Passmore, and grandma “Gree” of Elizabeth, Sarah, Payton, and Cameron.
Preceded in death by her parents, George and Bonita (nee Harrington) Firman.
Karen graduated from Central Michigan University and was a teacher at Lakeville High School, Otisville for 37 years. She taught art, home economics, and child development. Karen was talented at acrylic painting, knitting and sewing.
She and her husband enjoyed traveling and square dancing. She appreciated warm weather and sunshine.
Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, February 24 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service Friday, February 25 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment at Christian Memorial Cemetery.
