Dear Editor,
A big thank you to the Clarkston News and a special thanks to Matt Mackinder.
Matt diligently drops off a class set of newspapers every week to my Current Events class at Clarkston High School.
This is the only “real” paper that my students get to use as part of their curriculum. I am surprised that some students actually prefer the paper to their digital news sources.
Thanks again, Clarkston News, for helping students learn about their local community.
I would also add that after we are done with a unit, we recycle the papers to the art department who use them in various projects for their curriculum.
