Michael R. Mausolf, of Clarkston, passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 17, 2023 from pancreatic cancer at the age of 66.
Husband of Debbie for 46 years, father of Stephanie (Mario) Castillo and Gregory (Brenda) Mausolf, grandpa of Genna Castillo, Aubrie and Tyler Mausolf, son of Joy and Jerry Mausolf, son-in-law of Winifred Waterland and the late William (Nancy) Allen, brother of Pat (Diane) Mausolf, and brother-in-law of Denise, Reuben, Mark, Stacy. Jeff, Paul, and Kathy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his brother Jeff Mausolf.
Mike attended Clarkston High School, where he met Debbie. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors Truck & Bus. After retirement, he drove a Clarkston school bus. Mike enjoyed golfing and riding dirt bikes. He was an avid gun enthusiast.
Most of all, he loved being a grandpa.
Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, June 22 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service is Friday, June 23 at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cemetery service with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly on Monday, June 26 at 9:30 a.m.
