Net parking revenue for the city parking lot at Main and Washington streets was $5,219 for April, a 21 percent decrease from March, said City Manager Jonathan Smith.
A total of 1,761 vehicles paid for parking in the municipal lot, a nine percent decrease from March. A total of 155 citations were issued in April, down 20 percent. The reductions are largely attributed to the spring break week when the city was unusually quiet, Smith said.
