April is blue pinwheel month in the Clarkston community.
Seeing bright blue pinwheels spinning in the spring sunshine can lift our spirits. This year, the blue pinwheels are especially important as they reflect the community’s generosity, compassion, and power to come together and support each other. Clarkston Area Youth Assistance (CAYA) sponsors and coordinates the Pinwheels for Prevention Program for the Clarkston community.
The Pinwheels for Prevention Program is aligned with community interest in creating a culture of well-being, especially for children and youth. The blue pinwheels remind us everyone has a role to play in helping youth feel safe, hopeful, and welcomed.
