The Springfield Township Library hosts the Library Olympics on July 13 from 1-3 p.m. at the Shiawassee Pavilion next door to the library, and Flying Aces Pro Frisbee Team on July 19.
The library’s theme this year is fun with sports, and as well as encouraging kids to read this summer.
Participants in the Summer Reading Program win a free book if they read 600 or more pages over the summer. If younger kids are not yet able to read, parents can read to them and include those pages on their child’s reading log as well.
