Nicholas Stevenson, of Clarkston, is one of more than 700 students who received a diploma at Harding University’s Spring commencement ceremonies May 7-8.
Stevenson received a Bachelor of Arts in Film, and was also on the Dean’s List for grades achieved during the Spring 2021 semester.
The Dean’s List honors those who carry 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

To qualify for inclusion on the Dean’s List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Daniel Jagod, of Clarkston, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Andrew Ross, of Clarkston, earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Cedarville University.
The two were part of a graduating class of 892 during three separate religious graduation programs April 30-May 1 at the Doden Field House in Cedarville, Ohio.
Ross and Sarah Lacey, also of Clarkston, were named to the Dean’s Honor List at Cedarville for the Spring 2021 semester.
This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Jeyoung Oh, of Clarkston, has received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Alabama.

Steeno was named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

Andrea Dean, a 2014 graduate of Clarkston High School, attended Central Michigan University’s Centralis Honors Program and graduated in 2018 with dual bachelor’s degrees in Exercise Science-Kinesiology, and Psychology. Dean continued her graduate studies at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, where she graduated in April 2021 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences. She obtained her Physical Therapy license and has accepted a position at a private outpatient clinic serving the city of Chicago.

Wade Bonnici (an Architecture major), Cayd Maccagnone (Architectural Engineering), and Aidan Nolan (Civil Engineering), all of Clarkston, have been named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2021 semester at Lawrence Technological University.
To be named to the honor roll a student must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the term.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized four Clarkston students named to the Dean’s List for the Spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
Those students include Alexander Carlson, College of Engineering, Dean’s Honor List; Megan Ford, College of Engineering, Dean’s Honor List; JC James, College of Letters and Science, Dean’s List; and Matthew McLain, College of Engineering, Dean’s Honor List.
Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.
Most call the honor “dean’s list,” but some grant the “Dean’s Honor List” and “Dean’s High Honor List.”

Diver is a Business Administration major at the Annville, Pa.-based school.
