The Clarkston Farm and Garden Club honored scholarship winners at a luncheon on June 26.
Scholarship winners for 2023 are recent 2023 graduates Phoebe Savoie, Kayla Cole, Kara Bowles, and Bedford Muzzy.
Savoie will be going to Cornell University for health sciences.
Cole heads to Adrian College for pre-veterinary studies.
Bowles will be attending Northern Michigan University studying agriculture.
Muzzy will be studying aeronautics with the prospect of entering the Air Force Academy in 2024.
Members were able to meet the students and their families during the luncheon.
The Clarkston Farm and Garden Club has given scholarships to Clarkston-area students for nearly 70 years, since 1956.
The organization has supported the Clarkston community for 75 years.
