The Clarkston Area Optimist Club brought back Winterfest on Feb. 5, an event which had been shut down for the past two years due to COVID. The club hosted skating, games, and refreshments at the ice rink at Depot Park. Music was provided by the Optimist Club, a fire pit was manned by Kensington Church, and hot chocolate was donated by Union Joints.
