Spikers getting set for districts

Lake Orion fell in three games to Clarkston last Thursday, in what could be a preview of this weekend’s district final.
The Wolves, who competed in the OAA I this year, won 25-19, 25-22 and 25-23.
The match was also the Lake Orion’s final home contest of the season, so they honored their three senior captains (Sarah Brown, Rachelle Boudry and Kaitlin Denton) during ‘senior night? festivities.
The team will travel to Romeo for districts on Saturday, where they await the winner of Friday night’s Romeo/Stoney Creek match-up in the semifinals (the Dragons have played, and beaten, Stoney Creek twice this season, but have not seen Romeo).
The semifinal game takes place at 11 a.m., with the finals slated for 1:30 p.m.
Clarkston, Rochester and Utica Eisenhower round out the district.
