The Wolves win on the road against Athens

The Clarkston Boys Swim and Dive team won their meet at Troy Athens on Thursday, Feb. 18, 103-82.For individual events, in the 50-yard freestyle, Owen Guzal finished in first place in the time of 24.91; Avery Kersjes, third place, 25.67; Stephen Catani, sixth place, 27.15;
in the 100-yard breaststroke, Owen Brown, second place, 1:10.05; Canyon Roodbeen, third place, 1:13; Zac Montgomery, fifth place, 1:17.75;
in the 100-yard backstroke, Zach Yamanoha, first place, 1:01.16; Avery Kersjes, third place, 1:08.10; Connor Spitznas, fifth place, 1:12.21;
in the 100-yard butterfly; Zach Yamanoha, first place, 55.95; Martin Cordoba, third place, 1:09.01; Craig Popiolek, fifth place, 1:10.72;
in the 100-yard freestyle, Valen Kurmaniak, first place, 52.14; Owen Guzal, second place, 55.42; Canyon Roodbeen, fourth place, 57.75;
in the 200-yard IM, Owen Brown, second place, 2:27.27; Andrew Musson, third place, 2:28.79; Zac Montgomery, sixth place, 2:35.17;
in the 200-yard freestyle, Valen Kurmaniak, first place, 1:52.85; Stephen Catani, fourth place, 2:17.43; Craig Popiolek, sixth place, 2:24.56;
and in the 500-yard freestyle, Andrew Musson, third place, 5:51.75; Martin Cordoba, fourth place, 6:15.93; and Andrew Craig, fifth place, 6:34.97.
For relay events, the Wolves finished in first place in the 200-yard freestyle in the time of 1:37.58 and the 200-yard medley relay in the time of 1:50.14. They finished in second place in the 400-yard freestyle relay, 3:53.84.
Kevin Hardtke led in diving, finishing in first place with a total of 187.65 points after six dives. Lucas Breeden finished in third place with 135.10 points and James Lazar finished in fourth place with 120.90 points.
