The Yellow Dog Marketplace is open for business at 9861 Dixie Highway in Springfield Township.
“It’s wonderful. We’ve been very welcomed,” said owner Marla Sanford, who opened their first location in 2013 in Goodrich. “The Clarkston community has totally embraced us. We’re thrilled to be here.”
The shop, filled with antiques, hand crafted items, and retail products from local entrepreneurs, is located next to Dixie Lake north of Davisburg Road.
“I love that this is a destination by a lake, not a strip center,” Sanford said.
Hours are Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sundays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Call 248-925-6118.
