Wolfpack Update for February 9, 2022

The post season begins this week as the Clarkston Varsity Wrestling team heads into district meets.
The Wolves compete against Oxford on Wednesday in the semifinal of MHSAA Division 1 District 103 at Lapeer, 5:30 p.m.
Clarkston defeated Oxford for the OAA Red title, 38-33, on Jan. 21.
“They were down a few guys and our guys weren’t at usual spots in line up,” said Brian Gibbs, head coach, after the win. “I think when we see them at the team district first round it’s going to be a completely different dual meet. It will still be close, but the match ups are going to be completely different based on their kids coming back and our kids getting down to weight. I look forward to it.”
The winner of the semifinal round goes against Lake Orion/Lapeer winner for the district championship at 7 p.m.
Clarkston competes in the individual district meet on Saturday at Lapeer High School.
