Wolves finish season ruling OAA Blue league

Auburn Hills — Junior Jordyn Coin finished in eighth place at the MHSAA Girls Division 1 Swim and Dive Championships at Oakland University, Nov. 18-19.
Coin finished with a final total 338.15 in the 1-meter diving event.
Sophomore Rylee Harris represented Clarkston in two swim events – the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle. She finished in 17th place in both during the preliminary rounds with a time of 5.94 in the 100-yard freestyle; and time of 1:57.65 in the 200-yard freestyle.
The Clarkston Girls Swim and Dive team finished the regular season undefeated and the champions of the OAA Blue League Meet, Nov. 2-4.

Coin finished All-League in diving and won the event with a total score of 411 points. Coin, Samantha Carpenter and Ava Dowd qualified for the regional dive meet.
Harris finished All-League finishing in first place in the 50-yard freestyle in the time of 24.93; and the 100-yard freestyle, 54.12. Senior Lily Kurmaniak was named Senior of the Meet.
Scoring points for the team during individual events were: in the 50-yard freestyle, Harris in first place; Kurmaniak, fifth, 26.81; 100-yard butterfly, Ella Johnson, fifth, 1:05.34; 100-yard freestyle, Harris, first; Kurmaniak, third, 57.94; 100-yard breaststroke, Olivia Zeiman, third, 1:17.26; Marion Walters, fourth, 1:17.71; 200-yard freestyle, Walters, fourth, 2:06.71; Paige Szerlong, fifth, 2:12.77; 200-yard IM, Johnson, third, 2:32; Bayla Zarzycki, fifth, 2:33.38; and 500-yard freestyle, Szerlong, fifth, 6:02.15.
For relay events, the 200-yard relay team of Harris, Zeiman, Johnson and Kurmaniak finished in second place in the time of 2:00.08. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Johnson, Walters, Calida Brown and Madison Kauth finished in third place, 1:49.44. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Kurmaniak, Brown and Harris and Elaina Kurmaniak finished in second place in the time of 3:58.23.
