Fred Pellerito of O.A.T.S., now in Groveland Township, volunteered for the first time, Dec. 1, to sell Goodfellow newspapers for Clarkston Rotary’s Shoes for Kids program. “The Rotary helps out a lot – they’re a great group of guys and this is a great cause,” Pellerito said. The service organization has 311 children signed up for Shoes for Kids, Dec. 9 at Oakland Woods Baptist Church, said Rotarian Joel DeLong. The event will also includes Project Kidsight by Clarkston Lions, Opti-Socks by Clarkston Area Optimist Club, and photos with Santa by MPK Photography.
