NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice, that the Oxford Village Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 20, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter for the purpose of hearing public comment on a proposed amendment to the Village of Oxford Zoning Ordinance #307.
These amendments will bring the Village of Oxford into compliance with the new Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (P.A. 110 of 2006) which will take effect on July 1, 2006.
The amendments include the elimination of references to the old act, a change in notice procedures, requiring the planning commission to submit an annual report to the village council, Zoning Board of Appeals membership requirements, the allowance for use variances, the allowance for practical difficulty for appeals to the ZBA, and modifications to the appeals requirements to the circuit court.

Please take notice, that the Village of Oxford Planning Commission will hold a Public
Hearing at 7:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, on February 21, 2006 in the Oxford Village
Council Chambers, 22 W. Burdick, Oxford, Michigan for the purpose of considering an
amendment to the Village of Oxford Zoning Ordinance #307, Article VIII, Section 8.02, Permitted Principal Uses in the C-1 Central Business District; Article VIII, Section 8.03, Uses Permitted after Special Approval in the C-1 Central Business District; Article VIII Section 8.04 Development Standards in the C-1 Central Business District; and Article XII, Section 12.01 Area, Height, Bulk and Placement requirements of all Zone Districts; Article XII, Section 12.02 Notes to Schedule of Regulations.
This amendment will allow for changes in allowable uses, special uses, the development standards, and height changes to properties within the C-1 Zoning District.

Burdick, Oxford, Michigan for the purpose of considering an amendment to the Village of Oxford Zoning Ordinance #307, Zoning Map.
This amendment will rezone those properties shaded in the map below. These properties will be rezoned to C-1 Central Business District, Office Service or P-1 Vehicular Parking district 1.A complete copy of the text amendment is available at the offices of the Village Clerk, 22 W. Burdick, Oxford.

Burdick, Oxford, Michigan for the purpose of considering an amendment to the Village of Oxford Zoning Ordinance #307, Article XVIII, Signs, Section(s) 18.02; 18.09(h); and 18.20(e)(9).
This amendment would regulate portable sidewalk signs in the DDA District.
