They sang, danced and even played instruments last Friday night at the annual Oxford High School Talent Show.
Twenty different acts took the stage at the Performing Arts Center, but only three became winners that evening.
The Kiss Cover Band, which included Scott Compau, Josh Smith, Justin Weir and Evan Profant, were the winners of the Band category, Marsha McMunn and Nicholas McDaniel were the winners of the Vocal category, and Evan Profant and John Bivens were the winners of the Open category and Best Overall Performance.
Put together by the school’s student council, the event raised $3,100, which will help pay for future field trips and replenish funds that went towards painting the Wildcat logo on the new water tower.
