The Oxford varsity girls softball team lost both games to Swartz Creek 4-7 and 2-6 last Thursday.
The Lady Cats? junior Sarah Paszko scored two runs in game one, while junior captain Lauren LaCroix and senior captain Amanda Jolly were both 1 for 3.
In game two, freshman pitcher Corinne Luxton and Jolly both had 1 RBI, and scored one run, while junior Jennifer Smillie had 1 RBI.
The Lady Cat’s overall record is 9-27 and their FML record is 2-14. They’re currently in 9th place.
Oxford will compete in the district tournament on Saturday, June 2 against Lake Orion at 9:45 a.m.
